The matrix switch of Dalian Kodi, which made its debut at the IS China 2007 exhibition with its modular design, plug-in structure, and dual power hot backup, has caught the attention of many experts.


There are many brands of matrix switches in the market, but there are not many brands that truly satisfy integrators. In the past, almost all matrix switchers in the market used a fixed integrated structure. This simple structure has a lower cost for small and medium-sized matrices, but it limits the flexibility of matrices, the convenience of maintenance, and the possibility of mass production of large and medium-sized matrix switchers, resulting in small matrices everywhere in the market and varying quality. The cost of large and medium-sized matrices is high and the price is astonishing, and designers often modify the original plan due to budget issues. Although some well-known foreign brands have adopted modular design plug-in structures, their prices are also high and often only used in high-end occasions.

The signal sources in AV systems are diverse, and the signals transmitted by different cameras, recorders, and cameras cannot be synchronized at all. The commonly used field reverse switching technology can only work under the premise of complete synchronization of all signals, and can only ensure signal switching without jitter in this ideal state. In reality, switching without jitter or flicker cannot be achieved. The Kdv2100 synchronous switcher launched by Dalian Kedi Company adopts a unique built-in dual channel time base design. As is well known, analog video images are composed of coherent frames and frames. When one frame of the two signals is completely synchronized, these two frames are also synchronized. The time base corrector is specifically used to synchronize signals.
