The 2012 China International Public Safety Products Expo was held from December 3rd to 6th at the China International Exhibition Center (New Hall) in Beijing. Dalian Kedi should focus on the HD-SDI series products and showcase the expertise of HD-SDI matrix experts at booths G16-G24 in E3 Hall.

        At this exhibition, in addition to showcasing numerous HD-SDI products, Dalian Kedi also dispatched senior professional technical personnel to give on-site explanations, mainly providing comprehensive, clear, and in-depth explanations on the application of high-definition products and solutions in various systems, which caused a high response at the exhibition site.

As a well-known matrix expert in the industry, Dalian Kedi has more than ten years of accumulation in SDI technology, spanning fields such as broadcasting and television, professional audiovisual, and security monitoring. It has a full range of matrix products and interface family products that include all video signal conversions. The R&D center has top-notch testing equipment for all video signals, including HD-SDI signals. Its detection capabilities for HD-SDI and 3G-SDI signals are currently only available in China.

At present, multiple sets of HD-SDI matrices with over 128 channels have been applied in industries and systems such as broadcasting, public security, military, power, emergency, and video conferencing, and have become designated matrix suppliers for well-known companies such as Huawei and ZTE.

        Kodi HD-SDI series digital high-definition matrix, compliant with SMPTE and ITU standards, implemented at 3GB/s bit rate 1080p@50Hz /Supported at 60Hz and 1.5Gb/s bit rates 1080i@50Hz /Switching transmission of 60Hz high-definition digital video signals, and downward compatibility with serial digital signals of different bit rates such as 143Mbps, 177Mbps, 270Mbps, 360Mbps, 540Mbps for standard definition SD-SDI video signals.

        The automatic cable balancing function compensates for the amplitude loss caused by the long transmission distance from the video signal source to the matrix input. For system applications in the digital video field, distinguishing between DVI and HDMI digital video formats, HD-SDI digital high-definition video signals have been tested using Belden 1694A cables. The distance from the input signal source to the matrix can reach up to 150 meters, making it suitable for long-distance signal transmission and large-scale digital video systems.

The optional multi rate data clock recovery can effectively remove clock jitter caused by long cables, ensuring the quality of the output HD-SDI serial digital video signal image.

The matrix switching scale ranges from 2 * 1 to 8 * 8; 8×16~16×16； 16×24~32×32； 32×48~64×64； 128 x 128~512 x 512, up to a maximum of 1024 x 1024.

Dalian Kedi HD-SDI digital high-definition matrix adopts field reverse switching with Genlock external synchronization signal interface, supporting RS-232, RS-422, RS-485, TCP/IP control, suitable for the transmission application of standard digital video signals of any scale.

The Kodi HD-SDI digital high-definition video matrix can adapt to uninterrupted working conditions of 7 × 24 hours, and the average time between failures is greater than 30000 hours, providing a stable and reliable signal transmission switching center for the system. The application scope includes high-quality digital video display fields such as digital video multi screen display systems, broadcasting and television systems, medical teaching systems, satellite surveying, etc.

During the exhibition, among the matrix products exhibited by Kodi, "Kd8000 series HD-SDI high-definition digital matrix" was included in the list of excellent security products recommended by the China Security Products Industry Association for "Safe City" construction. "Kd MF series HD-SDI high-definition multi format mixed matrix" won the "Excellent Innovative Product Award" this year.
