On October 29, 2013, the 14th China International Public Safety Expo (CPSE2013) was grandly opened at the Shenzhen International Convention and Exhibition Center. CPSE is a large-scale social public safety expo in China hosted by the authoritative portal "Zhong'an Net" in the "security industry", and is also a world leading security industry event. Dalian Kedi has already shown its talents in the security industry, bringing the KD-MF series, a large-scale, fully high-definition multi format hybrid matrix based on HD-SDI, which has been newly created for the security industry, to the conference alone.


As is well known, as a leading supplier of switching, conversion, and transmission products in China, Dalian Kedi attended CPSE as a "matrix expert". At this exhibition, Kodi's products made a brilliant debut with the KD-MF series, which is based on HD-SDI's large-scale and full HD 72 * 72 multi format mixed matrix. The KD-MF series is a large-scale, fully high-definition, and multi format hybrid matrix based on the HD-SDI signal format. The 72 * 72 scale exhibited at this exhibition is actually applied to government departments, urban road traffic command centers, and public safety management centers. Especially in response to the current trend of high-definition in the security industry, the complexity and variability of device interfaces and signal format compatibility, the KD-MF series HD-SDI high-definition multi format hybrid matrix is the perfect solution to address these issues.


The traditional solution involves a large number of high-speed balls, hemispheres, guns, and all-in-one machines passing through optical terminals and utilizing a large number of signal converters to unify signal formats, which are then transmitted to matrix switches for scheduling signals, and finally transmitted to monitoring devices such as splicing walls. Compared to traditional solutions, the KD-MF series HD-SDI high-definition multi format mixed matrix is precisely designed to address the drawbacks of the aforementioned solutions, giving birth to products that solve the "security industry" problem. Its feature lies in the ability to freely select input and output signal formats. The input signal formats include various analog, digital, optical, and network signals, including HD-SDI, 3G-SDI, HDMI, DVI, VGA computer video, RGBHV component, YPbPr color difference component, D1 analog video, optical and IP network, wireless WIFI signals, and outputs are HD-SDI, HDMI, DVI, VGA computer video, YPbPr color difference component, D1 analog video, optical and IP network signals. Moreover, each output can freely choose any input for conversion and switching, without interfering with other outputs, minimizing signal transmission attenuation and producing high-quality output signals.


Therefore, the KD-MF series HD-SDI high-definition multi format mixed matrix no longer requires a separate matrix to process individual signals, and no longer requires various converters to achieve signal format conversion. While simplifying the system and reducing costs, it greatly improves the stability and reliability of the system. Even if a fault occurs, it is easy to troubleshoot and maintain the normal operation of the entire system. More importantly, adopting the KD-MF series HD-SDI high-definition multi format hybrid matrix not only meets the needs of high-definition upgrade and transformation, but also avoids unnecessary waste, so users do not have to replace all devices to achieve high-definition upgrades.
