Dalian Kedi Technology has achieved fruitful innovative results, and the KD series large-scale digital matrix switching system has recently won the Dalian Science and Technology Progress Award in 2007, following the award of the 2006 National Torch Program.


The Dalian Science and Technology Progress Award represents the highest level of scientific research and development and high-tech industrialization in Dalian. The award mainly considers the innovation and progressiveness of the project, the degree of influence and professional level of the project in the industry and at home and abroad, the application prospect of the project, economic and social benefits and other factors.


In recent years, Dalian Kedi has increased its technological research and development efforts, continuously improved its independent innovation capabilities, and achieved continuous achievements in scientific and technological innovation. The KD series large-scale digital matrix switching system was officially approved as a self selected project in 2003. The research and development of a large-scale digital matrix switching system was initiated in May 2004 by the Science and Technology Innovation Fund for Small and Medium sized Enterprises of the Ministry of Science and Technology. In November 2005, it passed the acceptance of the Ministry of Science and Technology Innovation Fund project. In 2006, it was awarded the BIRTV Product Award and also won the Dalian Science and Technology Progress Award.


The KD series large-scale digital matrix switching system has a scale of over 64x64 (expandable to 512x512) and forms a series to meet the usage requirements of different users in China. It is worth mentioning that the system has achieved multiple domestic innovations: for the first time in China, AD/DA circuits have been designed in the input and output boards to achieve digital/analog compatibility, adapting to the reality of digital and analog coexistence in the digital transformation process of broadcasting and television in China; For the first time in China, a clock recovery circuit that is compatible with SDI and ASI signals has been designed, achieving true compatibility between the two; Balancing SD and HD signal standards to adapt to the future development of digital television; The earliest application of ISP technology in matrix control in China, achieving remote control and upgrading; For the first time, a real-time monitoring module for various bitstream signals has been developed, realizing the real-time monitoring function of digital matrix bitstreams; We have developed a multifunctional switching chip based on FPGA for the first time, which solves the shortcomings of expensive and single function specialized chips that can only be used for switching. All performance indicators meet the GY/T165-2000 standard, with some indicators superior to the above standards, and the technical level is among the first to be ranked domestically and internationally.
