The Dalian Kedi Kd2800 series 32 × 32RGBHV broadband matrix switcher and multiple small and medium-sized video and audio matrices have recently been successfully accepted in the large screen monitoring system of an island unit in Fujian, and have received unanimous recognition from Party A.


In this system engineering project, the Kodi matrix switcher has received high praise from military leaders for its high-quality indicators, advanced structure, and good appearance. In particular, the Kodi matrix adopts a design concept of "modular design, plug-in structure, and hot standby dual power supply". This modular design and plug-in structure adopt a layered transmission method, and the incoming RGBHV signals are transmitted independently without interference. Not only does it better ensure the transmission performance of RGB video signals, but it also greatly reduces interference between signals at full load. All circuit boards support hot plugging and unplugging, and once the equipment is mounted on the rack, once maintenance or expansion is needed, signal cables do not need to be disassembled, only can they be removed. The corresponding signal switching board needs to be plugged and unplugged, and general maintenance only takes a few minutes, It is much more convenient to maintain matrices than other brands in the past.


The dual power supply structure of hot backup refers to the use of a hot backup integrated switch power supply in the chassis, where two power boards in the chassis work simultaneously and serve as hot backup for each other. When one of the power components fails, the other automatically takes on all the work, almost ignoring the possibility of the system being paralyzed due to power interruption, ensuring the continuity of system operation and greatly improving the reliability of the system.


The successful acceptance of this project not only fully affirms the application of Kodi RGB matrix in large screen display systems, but also lays a good foundation for Kodi matrix to further explore the military market.
